🏆 Swimmer of the Month – August 🏆

Huge congratulations to Oriana, our Swimmer of the Month for August! 🤩

Oriana works super hard in all her training sessions. She asks lots of questions about technique for when competing at galas and is supportive of her fellow swimmers.

Oriana also recently completed a sponsored 200 length swim in 1 hour 45 minutes!!! 😮🙌🏻

You have really impressed all the coaches since joining the club, keep up the fabulous hard work!

🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♂️NASC TIME TRIALS 🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️

A fantastic first outing of the new season for our swimmers at Bedale today! 🙌🏻

The first racing of the 2026/27 season gives us a great benchmark to work from as we head into our next training block, and there were plenty of brilliant swims, PBs and performances to be proud of! 💪🏻🔥

A huge well done to some of our swimmers who were racing for only the first or second time today. It can be a big step getting up on the blocks and racing, but they coped brilliantly, showed loads of confidence and swam really well! 👏🏻👏🏻

Every race gives us something to learn from, work on and build towards 💙

Well done everyone - season 26/27 is officially underway! 🚀🏊‍♀️

🏔️🔥 WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT! 🔥🏔️

He’s only gone and DONE IT 🤩🥹 A massive CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Jeff on completing the legendary UTMB Mont-Blanc! 👏🏻🏃🏼

🏔️ 174km around Mont Blanc
⛰️ Almost 10,000m of elevation gain
🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 Through France, Italy and Switzerland
🌙 Running through the day, night and back into the day again!

This isn’t just an ultramarathon, it is an absolutely epic test of endurance, strength and mental resilience. Earning a place on that start line is an incredible achievement in itself. To then make it all the way around Mont Blanc and back to Chamonix is something else entirely 🤯👏🏻

From all of us at Saltburn & Marske ASC - an enormous well done we are SO proud of you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for inspiring us all with your determination and drive. We have been cheering you on every step 📣 well done to Jeff’s crew too 🫶🏻

🏔️🔥 GOOD LUCK JEFF! 🔥🏔️

Today, one of our coaches, Jeff, takes on UTMB Mont-Blanc - one of the toughest and most prestigious ultra-marathons in the world! 🤯🏃‍♂️

And this isn’t just an ultramarathon…

🔹 174km around Mont Blanc
🔹 Through France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹 & Switzerland 🇨🇭
🔹 Almost 10,000m of elevation gain ⛰️
🔹 Up to 46 hours 45 minutes to complete it!

For some perspective, that’s the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest from sea level and then doing it again! 😳

Even getting the chance to take on UTMB is a huge achievement. Places are fiercely contested, with runners having to earn qualifying running stones at UTMB World Series events before entering a ballot for one of the limited places.
