Last Saturday I took part in my second powerlifting competition. have put on a few novice events now, and it is such a great introduction to the sport before taking the plunge and becoming a full member.
I can't recommend it enough if you're interested in trying out your max squat, bench and deadlifts under full competition rules!
I improved my overall total by 27.5kg, ending with 537.5kg
Squat 182.5kg (+12.5 from last time)
Bench 130kg (same as last time)
Deadlift 225kg (+15kg from latte time, and equal to my all time best)
