Update!! Now down to £94,510! We are doing some fundraising of our own, thanks to everyone who has taken a fundraising scratch card the last couple of weeks, it really means a lot. I will keep updating the amount as they come back in.

📣An Update on Our Skills and Training Indoor Arena Project📣

Many of you have been following our journey to develop a fully accessible indoor riding arena and community facility here at Happy Hooves Sanquhar C.I.C., and we wanted to share where we are with the project.

Due to rising construction and material costs, the total cost of the project is now £400,000.

We are incredibly grateful to say that we have already secured £205,000, with a further £100,000 currently pending, subject to us securing the remaining match funding by 11th September. This gives us a fantastic foundation, but also means we have a very short window to raise the final amount needed.

It's important to explain that although these grants have been awarded, the funding is only released once the full project cost has been secured. We do not currently have these funds sitting in our bank account. Once the full £400,000 has been raised, the grant funding will be released and construction can move forward.

The stable block has already been completed, and the indoor arena, accessible toilets, office and training facilities will be built alongside it, creating a year-round facility that will benefit our whole community.

We're asking for your help.

If you know of any funding opportunities we may not have explored, have fundraising ideas, or if your business would be interested in sponsoring or supporting the project, we would love to hear from you. Every conversation and every contribution brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.

This development will provide lasting benefits across our local communities, including:

Increased employment opportunities.
More training and education programmes.

*Greater access to equine-facilitated learning and riding opportunities.
*Improved accessibility for all, including our partnership with Upper Nithsdale RDA.
*Additional community facilities available for hire, including meeting and training spaces.
*A weatherproof venue allowing us to deliver more sessions throughout the year.
