In addition there's a lot of flooding on the roads between Ravenscar and the Hayburn Wyke - if you are coming from the Whitby end I recommend that you bypass the Falcon turning and come up from the Cloughton side

Ravenscar Cricket Club 🏏 are starting to prepare for the 2026 season and would like to invite potential new players to join us for our next practice sessions - whether you are a player looking for a new club or someone just wanting to try the game with a friendly welcoming club we would love to see you.

Nets are booked every Saturday (excluding Easter) 14:00 - 15:00.

Nets start Saturday Saturday 21st February 2026 through to Saturday 25th April 2026. Venue = Bramcote Sports Hall at Scarborough College.

Not long before the new season starts where the 1sts and 2nds will both be playing in the same division.

A big weekend of cricket this week as both teams are due to play their last league game of the season this Saturday against tough competition.

The first team entertain Glaisdale who are looking to bag the last couple of points that will ensure that they finish the season in runners up position and secure promotion.

The second team travel to Brompton who have already secured the runners up position and promotion.

Ravenscar will be looking to turn the form books upside down and finish the season on a high.

Come along and enjoy either game in the forecasted to be lovely sunny afternoon. Both games are scheduled to start at 13.30

Well after a high scoring game of cricket for the 2nd team they just failed to chase down 219 in their 40 overs - anyone wanting a less expansive game might want to take a trip to Derbyshire this weekend.
