Home of Scropton Riding for the Disabled - Registered Charity No: 1170646 & Registered Company No: 10427277 Our centre is home to both Scropton Riding for the Disabled and Scropton Equestrian, offering activities with horses for both mainstream and those with additional needs. We offer riding, horse care and horse agility sessions for a wide range of abilities, with a focus on activities that support health and well-being. There are plenty of opportunities for volunteering at our centre, working alongside both horses and participants, or in other supporting roles. We also offer a variety of services for the local equestrian community including Arena Hire, Rig Washing and Equine Car Boot Sales.

A really big thank you to everyone who supported our Equine Car Boot Sale last night - buyers, sellers and our fab volunteers. It was a busy evening again, raising an amazing £1850 for Scropton RDA 😁

☕️ Would you like to be a part of our team here at Scropton?
🧁 Do you have a couple of hours free on a Saturday?

You could be just the person we need! We run a coffee bar here at Scropton Riding for the Disabled on a Saturday between 9am & 2.30pm and we’re looking for some more volunteers to join our Coffee Bar Team.
You don’t necessarily have to be able to be available for the full time or even every week.

Come and meet our ponies, the stars of our centre!
Scropton Riding for the Disabled helps hundreds of people each year improve their health and well-being and it’s our amazing ponies that make this happen!

We’re opening our gates to anyone who would like to come and meet our ponies on Saturday 3rd October between 10.30 and 2.30pm.

You’ll have the chance to meet our lovely ponies and enjoy a short grooming session — a perfect way to connect and learn more about the benefits of time with horses.
Join us for coffee and cake, meet the team, and find out more about Riding for the Disabled.

Come and "‘Have a go’ Showjumping this Sunday 20th September, co-hosted by Helena Yates Equestrian Coaching & Care

This is a no-pressure, non-competitive confidence building sessions designed for anyone who’d like to gain more experience of show jumping in a friendly, relaxed environment. It's open to adults & children, horses & ponies and will have classes from ground poles to 50cm

Everyone is guaranteed a full round of show jumping and every rider will get a rosette!

Book online in advance or turn up on the day.

Leathersley Lane and Scropton Road are currently closed due to roadworks.
Watery Lane is currently the best access route to the centre - there are road closure signs however please pass by these to come through.

Theres only a few days left to book a pitch at the early bird price of only £9.50. After Friday 11th September its £13 per pitch.
This is a regular and very popular sale every few months on a Friday evening - if you haven't been before it's well worth a visit!
