Congratulations to Sofia who won the Judoka of the week.
Sofia hasn't been at the club for long but is a very fast learner and puts everything into it, a privilege to have on the mat.

Great day for her with some challenging fights but came out on top. 🥋💪🥇

All the best today to Chloe as she continues her love of competing.
Today she is at Walsall in The Heart of England championships.
Chloe has a very busy run up to the British Championships in December with competitions and training camps, hopefully she can enter the British in tip top condition.

I would also like to congratulate her on being selected for the Cadet ETD squad 26/27.
Another great achievement and shows what hard work and dedication achieves.
A great ambassador to the club.

Well done to everyone tonight , great effort as always and nice to see what we teach put into practice.
Tonight our Ippon of the day and judoka of the week go to Phoenix and Dominic. These two fought like Trojans and executed the throws superbly. I could have watched them fight all night.

A very busy mat tonight, couple of newbies, and a visit from Tigers judo club from Doncaster swelled the numbers. Big thankyou to Duncan Evans for bringing some of his members over.💪🥋

All the best to Chloe and Hayes for this weekend.
They have made the journey to East London to compete in The English closed competition.
This will be Chloe's first account on the cadet circuit after a very successful 2 years in the pre cadets. Always a daunting transition to make for any player but i have every faith in her and I am sure we can make this as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Hayes will be fighting on the Sunday in the juniors hoping to continue from his success at the West of England. After a spell of injuries it is great to see him back competing and very hungry for success.
Good luck to both of you 👍🥋💪
