The course has been designed with input from three top architects and shaped using an experienced team, over a number years and therefore has an established feel with greens built to USGA standards. An extensive drainage network built into the course boasts the newest technology, meaning whatever the weather, the course will be in the condition golfers expect, day to day, season to season.

🏆 Silverware at last! ⛳️🍺

Last week we were delighted to welcome Derwentside Golf Society to Sharpley - and we were thrilled to hear they had a fantastic day with us!

Marty Donaghy shared some brilliant photos and a few highlights from the day:

A huge congratulations to our General Manager Michael and Chris Liddle, who are through to the Northern Golfer Matchplay Pairs Semi-Final! 🏆⛳️

We love hearing what our visitors think of their time at Sharpley, and this recent TripAdvisor review really made us smile. 😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Thoroughly enjoyed our day at Sharpley GC and I will be back for another go.

Stunning views from the clubhouse overlooking the course and out to the North Sea. We had excellent weather but could only imagine how difficult a test it could have been with a stiff sea breeze.

We were made to feel welcome from arrival to departure and a special mention to the staff in the kitchen who knocked up a toasted sandwich, chips and salad that would have fed a small army after our round.

The course was in great condition considering the lack of rainfall and provided a good test for us both.

Well worth a visit 👍🏻”
