We’re ready to welcome you all to our joint annual Beer Festival with Sedgefield District Rugby Club this weekend!

We are open TONIGHT from 5pm! There’s food from Habibi Shawarma and live music from The Quiet Fire at 8pm.

All ales are £4 a pint and there’s some cracking local ales available over the weekend. The main clubhouse bar will be open for none beer drinkers. Entry is free all weekend.

Our new weekly draw with 1-59 numbers (choose your number on sign up). The winner is drawn by the Saturday Lotto round one bonus ball.

£12 a month standing order must be set up (no cash). The winner receives a £50 bar voucher and proceeds from the draw will help support the club throughout the year.

Sedgefield Cricket Club held their first women’s softball festival yesterday. We had the pleasure of hosting visitors Chester-le-street, Dawdon, Durham City and Stockton women’s soft ball teams. A great afternoon with Sedgefield Sirens coming third in the play off games. We saw some great play by the team who only started training late July. Watch this space for next year. Well done to Dawdon who won the overall tournament.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in the organisation of the festival both on and off the field. Thanks to our supporters too who came to watch the festival. A great finish to a wonderful season of cricket for SCC.
