💚Phoebe Ballard💚

Phoebe has been a part of RG Kickboxing for the past year and a half and flourished within the team 🤩

Last year for Phoebe's school play she had the important role of playing d***y in snow white and the 7 dwarves, turns out she's took the role a bit too literally, in height and personality 😂

Phoebe has a love for punching people in the face, she may be nice to you one second but secretly she's wishing she could punch you🥊

Professional boxing is Phoebe's dream career however her back up plan is to play Cindy-Lou Who in a live action remake of the Grinch 👧🏼

When Phoebe isn't training for an upcoming fight, her diet consists of original percy pigs, fizzy percy pigs and squidgy snouts percy pigs, some would say she's a little obsessed with them😋😋

Phoebe is funny, kind and a little ditsy at times, she thinks Scotland is down and London is up, but a place she knows really well is M&S - she's that annoying kid stood pressing the 'moo' button every 5 seconds 😂

September is full of exciting things for us, including:

Saturday 12th - Yorkshire 3 peaks
🌄Team RG are embarking on another journey uphill in hopes to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks! It's looking like a big team heading for the hills and if you would like to take part in this please speak to Ryan 🌄

Friday 18th - BBC Make A Difference Awards
✨RG Kickboxing has been nominated for the BBC Make A Difference Award and are excited to announce we are finalists! This being said we have been invited to an awards evening meaning both clubs will be closed on Friday 18th ✨

Saturday 26th - Grading
🥋The final grading of the year is upon us! If you or your child would like to grade then please book yourself on via the shop - putting the belt that you would be going for🥋

Sunday 27th - Battle of the North
🥊A few of our fighters are taking to the ring again on the last weekend of September. Please help us wish these fighters a huge good luck!!🥊

We want to wish all of our students who are going back to school this week a huge GOOD LUCK 🍀

It can be daunting returning to school after a long period off or even starting somewhere completely new such as college 🏫🎓

But we have faith in each and every one of you as you enter a new chapter this year 🤩

So whether it's your first year at school, your last year, a random year in between or a new chapter somewhere else, we wish you all a huge good luck and can't wait to hear about your new adventures 😁😁

🤩Meet The Team 🤩

💥Luke Fox💥

Luke has been part of RG for the past couple of years and recently started assisting on the mats in January 2026 💪🏼

If you know Luke you will know he's very conscious about his hair 💇‍♂️ he has more Brushes, combs and styling gel than his girlfriend 🤣

Rumour has it that Luke wants to be the next Leonardo Dicaprio and has posters of him all over his bedroom 🤩🤩

⏳️Time is a recommendation for Luke, he sees 7pm start and that somehow translates to 7:10pm in Luke's head 🤷‍♀️

Luke is excellent with the kids, he fits right in and has the same mental age as majority of our mini kicks 👶 however he can show authority when needed - usually to his mum about what he wants for tea 😋

We're back 💥

We hope you had a lovely bank holiday yesterday and are raring and ready to get back training 💪🏼💪🏼

Classes will resume at both clubs tonight 🥊👊🏼

On a side note....we have had a few people asking about the summer timetable!

It is working lovely at both clubs so far and we have seen no need to change back, therefore we are keeping the summer timetable for the foreseeable 🥳💪🏼

The most anticipated game of year finally happened yesterday! We had 2 Team full of confidence going into the match and a huge crowd of supporters cheering all the players on 🤩
