Selby Gym

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to a young and wonderful man. Ben was a member here and trained nearly everyday, sometimes with Cieron testing out workouts, sometimes with his brother Ewan pushing themselves and sometimes on his own late at night showing his true dedication . Along with his enjoyment of training hard and learning how to better himself, Ben always had a smile on his face and was a young gentleman through and through.

His love for the gym, sport and motorbikes gave him an educated edge in conversations, and the attractiveness of “wise head on young shoulders.”

It was an absolute pleasure to meet and know you and we will keep your memory alive by your favourite machine. A plaque will be dedicated to you by the old hack squat to teach and remind us all of your strength and respect.

Our heart and thoughts go out to your family. And they know that this gym will always be open for them.
