Another pre season friendly for the under 9s today and another great test against a very good Rothwell Town side.

What a performance it was from the Belles!

Every single one of them worked incredibly hard from start to finish and most importantly they worked together brilliantly as a team.

There was some fantastic football played along with some brilliant defending .

The effort and determination from the girls was excellent, and you can really see the confidence they’re playing with.

A fantastic all round team performance and a very well deserved clean sheet too.

Well done girls 👍🔵🟡⚽️

U11’s Match Report

The girls hosted their final friendly before the season kicks off next week against a good Tingley team.

They started a little slower this week and were stunned to be 3 down after 20 mins but they kept at it and never gave up.

The comeback started with an excellent ball from Harper into the box that found its way into the net quickly followed by an unbelievable finish from a corner on the full by Fearne.

The girls now had their tails up and continued creating chances, Harper, Heidi, Georgia all went close to getting the equaliser but it wasn’t until Ruby popped up at the far post to get us level.

This was shortly followed by a cool strike from Fearne to put us ahead. The girls had chances to go further ahead but unfortunately the ball wouldn’t fall for us and Tingley equalised late on with a good goal.

Brilliant competitive game from both teams.

Big thanks to Primrose for standing in to be our keeper.

⭐️Player of the match Sienna defended really well today constantly working hard for the team.

The Belles narrowly missed out on taking the win, finishing just behind on goal difference! 🙌🏼

They showed fantastic energy, determination and teamwork throughout every game and should be so proud of themselves. 💪🏼

The Under 9s continued their pre season preparations with a tough and competitive game against Garforth Villa this morning.

It was another really positive performance from the girls, with some fantastic football played throughout.

There’s plenty to be excited about with this group as they continue to develop and improve together.

The girls are already looking sharp and raring to go for the 2026/27 season.

⚽️U11’s Match Report ⚽️

Belles welcomed an excellent Garforth side to the college.

The girls knew this would be their toughest test for quite a while and were up for the test straight from the off.

They have really worked on their passing and moving into space and today they put it into practice. The first goal was a fantastic all round play from Heidi, she beat the defender to the ball and burst clear, then fired it high past the keeper into the net.

Then it was Fearne’s turn to get onto the score sheet with some wonderful team passing before a nice finish.

Between the goals Sienna and Molly stood tall in defence tackling and clearing everything that came their way.

Flo and Harper were everywhere in midfield helping create chances whilst defending and helping the girls out at every moment.

Georgia marked her return after a couple of weeks off with two fantastic goals in the second half. Both lovely finishes into the corner to put us further ahead.

⭐️ Player of the match Evie was outstanding and made save after save to keep us on the game ⭐️

Overall, another brilliant all round performance from the girls. They work so hard for each other and as coaches we couldn’t be prouder 💙💛
