The winning streak ends for the 2s with a disappointing loss to fellow promotion chasing side Church Fenton.
Losing the toss and being put into field Church Fenton racked up a tasty 241/8, the fielding performance were summed up by Maddhu making the bizarre decision to run into the fence, man of the match Ryan Highes however was a particular highlight taking a hattrick.
The Batting display was turgid at times which lead to the run rate creeping higher and higher Harry Longhurst doing his best to keep the chase alive with a well made 60 at more than a run a ball however the 241 proved too much as Drax fell short, ultimately getting to 90% and picking up 4 points.
We dust ourselves off and go again next week!

Big win for the 1s as they welcomed Pocklington
Batting first Drax imposed their largest score of the year hitting 274 from their alloted 50 overs.
Henry Parker with a well crafted 76, man of the match Craig Piggott with 65 at nearly a run a ball and Steve Smith flaying the ball for 42 from 21 deliveries.
The chase from Pocklington never got off the ground as some tight fielding and skillful bowling meant Pocklington were bowled out for 98 from 29.5 overs.
Steve Smith once again doing damage with the ball with 4-31 from 10 overs before Ethan blew the tail away with 3-17 from 1.5 overs, special mentions also go to Craig Piggott for bowling 9 overs at an economy rate of 1!
Good win for the boys which sees them consolidating their position in the championship!
