St Mary's Loch Sailing Club

Hi All,

Please see attached poster for the Junior and Singlehanded Regatta at St Mary’s Loch SC. Incorporating the Scottish RS Feva Championship and Supernova Scottish Nationals.

Event is 16th & 17th May (Optimists, Toppers, Fevas and Supernovas); 16th May for ILCAs and Streakers.
Reduced entry if entered before the 6th May.

The event is open to Optimists, Toppers, RS Fevas, ILCAs (Lakeland and Borders Grand Prix), Streakers (Scottish Circuit) and Supernovas. Entries are filling up fast and we may need to put in place a limit for entries.

It would therefore really help if you could enter ASAP so we can ensure you get a place - and ensure that we have suitable catering and on water support 🙂

Huge Shout Out to St Marys Loch SC very own Dougal Jackson who is currently competing at the Topper Worlds in Mdemblik Holland.

Following the initial series, Dougal is racing in the Gold fleet and today came 1st in Race 2. Dougal is currently sitting in 8th place overall in a fleet of 131 boats.

Huge congratulations Dougal. We are all very proud of you and cheering you on from back in Scotland!

Hi all, sharing as may be of use to some folk who require a ‘standard’ two day outdoor first aid course for various activities.

First Aid Borders (FAB) have potential to run a course based over four evening sessions in Peebles, but require a few more candidates to make it workable. Please contact Jen at FAB directly if of interest.

First Aid Borders are willing to put on a weekly course to run over 4 evenings.

Potential first aid in evenings-

Tue 29th and Wed 30th April and the Mon 12th and Tues 13th May - 6-10pm.
