Are you ready to celebrate?! 🥳

Our annual cricket dinner is back on Saturday 3rd October and for only £30pp you can secure yourself a spot, a delicious 3 course meal and a night of pure joy, laughter and celebration. There will be awards for all our senior men’s teams from the 1st XI to Sessay Raskelf 2nd XI to our senior Emeralds and we are sure there will be a cheeky appearance from Luke Burnett with some comedy awards 😉

The deadline for securing your place is Sunday 20th September! You need to pay the cost of the ticket upon completing the form- only once payment has been made will you secure your place. Details for this are on the form as well as choices for our menu!

Although we didn't get the result that we wanted yesterday, it was fantastic to see Ayana Siriwardhana become the second player in the club's history to score over a 1000 runs in the first team in a league season. Ayana is pictured with club legend John Flintoff who was the first. Ayana is claiming bragging rights after finishing 2 runs higher on 1043 league runs. 🟢🟡

Today we celebrate the wonderful Lee Margerison who is retiring from cricket. We will be sad to see his last game with the club but we know he will still be very much part of the club and Sessay CC! Hoping it’s a win for you today Lee 🟢🟡

Emerald player of the week sponsored by Hair & Beauty Secrets is Gemma Mumby- Collins Player of the week-Gemma Mumby-Collins for outstanding bowling in the T20 final taking 3 wickets for 14 runs in her 4 overs.

Our senior men’s player of the week sponsored by Mozzarellis is Ben Kettlewell who took a vital 6/30 on Saturday to secure a vital win for the 1s against Fairburn.
