Join us at Settle Cricket Club for the ultimate afternoon tea and garden party on Saturday 5th September.
Doors open from 2pm till late.

Last softball match for Scarlett and Georgia

Settle Girls U12 softball team played their final match of the season on Sunday afternoon. It was an especially poignant moment because it marked the end of Scarlett and Georgia's softball journey. Both girls have enjoyed 5 seasons playing in the girls softball team for Settle and have had a fantastic final year.
Scarlett has hit 231 runs this season which is not only the highest for the U12 girls team but also for the whole girls league. Georgia follows behind with 177 runs.
We wish both girls well for their future in hardball cricket.

Congratulations to Settle CC player Alf Walker who has just played in a three day match for Yorkshire U15 Intrasquads. He kept wicket for 56 overs in one innings and finished the match on 86*. A great player who continues to work hard to build both his keeping skills and batting technique. Well done Alf

U14 Cumbria v Yorkshire Girls representative match
Settle CC is so proud of three of our players who today played against one another in this highly skilled rep game. Scarlett and Lexi plying for Cumbria and Betsy playing for Yorkshire. As a club we are uniquely located close to 3 counties with lots of opportunities and possibilities. The girls enjoyed 2 T20 matches against each other which were highly competitive and demonstrated a high level of skill and competitiveness. Yorkshire coming out top in both.

Friday night junior training- 31st July
Due to the U13 match there will be no training for softball or AllStars this week. There will be hardball training at the earlier time
4-5.30pm in the nets. John Hughes will run the session. All welcome remember to bring all your safety gear to wear, and if you don’t have your own we have some to borrow.
Stay and support the u13’s after and enjoy the bar and pizza van.
