WE’RE HIRING | SALES & BOOKINGS COORDINATOR

Fancy working behind the scenes of an outdoor adventure company?

We’re looking for someone brilliant to join our small team at Lost Earth Adventures in Settle.

This is a varied role combining sales, bookings, customer service and logistics. You’ll be helping people turn an initial enquiry into an adventure, while making sure all the details behind the scenes are organised and ready to go.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident speaking to people, good with systems and able to juggle plenty of moving parts. An interest in the outdoors and adventure industry is important too.

Full-time | Based in Settle, North Yorkshire
£30,000 per annum

Well done to the team from that took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, finishing in 11hrs 38min; raising over £500 in vital funds for .

The weather was unkind, throwing everything at them, but as the day continued, the rain relented and the sun finally came out to play. Congratulations to the team for finishing with grit, determination, smiles (and perhaps a few sore feet).

Many of you who have joined us on an adventure over the years may have had the pleasure of meeting Jon Callow, one of our incredible instructors and a much-loved member of the Lost Earth Adventures team.

Jon’s wife, Anna, is currently living with Stage 4 cancer. Jon has recently had to step back from instructing so that he can care for Anna and their four-year-old daughter during an incredibly difficult time for their family.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help ease some of the financial pressure and allow Jon to focus on what matters most right now: being there for Anna and their daughter.

We wanted to share it with the wider Lost Earth Adventures community in case anyone would like to support them. Whether that is through a donation or simply by sharing the page, we know it would mean a great deal.

Our thoughts are very much with Jon, Anna and their family.

A brilliant day spent with Sambagshaw climbing and abseiling at Stanage Edge in the Peak District National Park. Thanks to our instructor, Will, for guiding the way; And a happy belated birthday to Sam! 🎉
