Kent Relay Championships 2026 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

A great day of racing at the London Aquatics Centre yesterday for our Team7Oaks relay teams!

Well done to all our swimmers who raced, with some brilliant performances across the day and plenty of close, exciting relay finishes!

A huge well done on all your hard work, commitment and dedication to the club. We’re looking forward to seeing you represent Team7Oaks this season and know you’ll be fantastic role models for all our swimmers! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Our very own coach Jaz will be swimming 15km around the Isles of Scilly next week in memory of her friend Emma! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jaz has swum at the club for over 10 years and has recently come back to 7Oaks as a coach! She has been coaching Oaks Academy Bronze, Oaks Academy Silver and County Development!

🚨 WE URGENTLY NEED MORE OFFICIALS! 🚨

We need around 10 more officials to help us run our club meets. Without enough officials, we’re going to struggle to run the events our swimmers need, starting with Club Champs next month! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Fun and games for our AGP & AG1 squads at our end of season training session last night! 🎲🏊

Our giant Snakes & Ladders challenge had swimmers rolling the dice to decide their next set... with some very mixed fortunes! 🐍🪜

Some landed on the ladders, while others weren’t quite so lucky. Back-to-back 200m butterfly anyone? 😅

A brilliant way to round off the season with plenty of laughs, teamwork and some tough swimming mixed in!

What a fantastic way to end the week at the Swim England National Summer Meet in Sheffield! 🎉

🥇 Gold for Dane in the 200m Backstroke (14yrs)! After a huge PB in this morning’s heats, Dane produced an outstanding swim in tonight’s final, taking almost another 2 seconds off his time to become National Champion! What an incredible achievement. Congratulations, Dane! 👏

🌟 6th place for Lola in the 200m Butterfly (16yrs)! Lola delivered another brilliant performance in her final, taking nearly 2 seconds off her heat time to finish an amazing 6th in the country. Well done, Lola! 👏

We’re so proud of you both!

A huge congratulations to all of our Team7Oaks swimmers who qualified for this year’s Nationals. You’ve all done yourselves proud with your performances, determination and commitment throughout the season.

A big thank you to our entire coaching team for their dedication and support throughout the season. A special mention to Alan and our Head Coach, Magda, for all their encouragement and guidance in the lead up and during the competitions.

🔥 What a morning in the pool! Incredible performances from Team 7Oaks! 🔥

First up, Chloe rounded off her first-ever Nationals with a PB in the 100m Freestyle, finishing 33rd overall and 16th among the 13-year-olds. A fantastic way to end an amazing debut! 👏

Next came Billy and Dane in the 200m Backstroke. Both swam brilliantly. Billy produced a well-paced race, battled all the way to the finish and was just outside his PB, finishing 15th.

Dane then delivered an incredible swim, taking almost three seconds off his PB to qualify for tonight’s 13–14 years final, ranked 1st! 🤩

Last up was Lola in the 200m Butterfly. She swam a strong, determined race to secure her place in tonight’s final, qualifying 9th in the 16-year-old age group. 💪

A huge well done to all four swimmers. We’re so proud of you all!

🏊 Day 4 in Sheffield! Another brilliant day of racing for Team 7Oaks!

Dane was up first this morning with a great swim in the 200m Freestyle, finishing 23rd overall and an impressive 13th among the 14-year-olds. 👏

Cara then produced a fantastic swim in the 200m Breaststroke, finishing 16th in the 17-year-old age group. 💪

Huge congratulations to you both! 👏

There’s plenty more action in the pool tomorrow as Chloe, Billy, Dane and Lola all take to the blocks. Good luck, Team 7Oaks!

Congratulations to Chloe Himsley on her English Nationals debut! 👏👏

Chloe competed in the 200m freestyle this morning and swam an amazing race on PB, to finish 25th in the 13/14 years category, and the 10th fastest 13 year old!!

To even qualify for this double age group at 13 is incredibly impressive!

Well done Chloe, amazing swim! Chloe will be back in the 100m freestyle on Friday. We’ll be cheering you on!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
