Strong can mean so many different things to each individual. Mentally, Physically, Emotionally. My favourite thing about Personal Training is seeing a growth of strength in others.
For many years I used exercise as a punishment, I lost weight by overtraining and under-eating which was a quick fix but was unhealthy and definitely not sustainable, and even then I still wasn’t happy with how I looked. Now I work out because it makes me feel amazing - I use fitness as a tool to help heal my relationship with my body and feel strong mentally, physically and emotionally 💪🏻

Making small tweaks can help create healthy habits and will lead to a more balanced lifestyle 🤍
A lot of people I talk to have difficulty “dieting” for many different reasons. So why don’t we try look at it from another angle.
Rather than less calories, why not try more protein - including more protein daily can help keep you fuller for longer (therefore less likely to snack unnecessarily) and will provide your body with the nutrients it needs to repair and build muscle, which is super important when weight training 🍗🍳
Rather than less carbs, why not try more vegetables - veggies and starchy carbs BOTH play an important part in providing energy for your body to carry out its daily tasks, as well as ensuring you get plenty of vitamins and minerals that will aid mental and physical function 🥦🥕
Rather than less meals, why not try more activity - use the fuel you are providing your body with to make the most of your physical ability and get moving 🚶🏼♀️🏋🏻♀️
Rather than taking away things that you enjoy, why not try adding in healthy habits that will benefit you in the long run whilst ensuring you still enjoy your day to day 💪🏻🤍
