Nobody wakes up every day excited to train. Not me, not your favourite fitness girlie on Instagram, not anyone.
The women who are actually changing their bodies aren’t more motivated than you.
They’ve just stopped using how they feel as an excuse not to show up.
You brush your teeth without debating it.
Training needs to be the same energy.

Can we just talk about the pressure for a second?
You’re trying to be consistent, eat better, actually look after yourself and the people around you just don’t get it.
Your mate orders a sharing platter when you’re trying to stay on track and gives you the eyes when you say no thank you.
Your family think you’re obsessed.
Someone calls you boring for leaving early to get your sleep in because you’re hitting the gym first thing tomorrow.
And after a while it just wears you down doesn’t it.
Here’s the thing though.. you’re not mad for wanting more for yourself.
You’re not boring.
You’re not “too much.”
You’ve just got goals and not everyone’s going to understand them and that is completely fine.
You don’t need a round of applause from everyone at the table.
You just need to back yourself even when nobody else does.
Find your people.
The ones who hype you up instead of making you feel guilty for trying. 🤝✨

Stop letting one bad photo convince you that you’re not making progress.
Lighting ruins you. Your cycle messes with you. Your body after leg day looks completely different to your body on a rest day.
Track how your clothes fit.
Track what you’re lifting.
Track how you feel.
THAT’S progress.

Look I’ve been there, I’ve been a deficit and neglected my steps because I couldn’t be arsed
And I noticed it
The body fat was slower to shift, I didn’t feel overly fit despite the stairmaster minutes I was racking up every week
So the next cut I did the following year.. I made a point of hitting my steps EVERY day
The body fat FLEW off, I felt less stressed, I felt fitter, I just felt overall better
So if you’re sat at home watching Netflix right now frustrated with your progress.. I mean this in the nicest way possible, you’re f**cking yourself over.
Go for a walk and move.
