1-2pm 4-7yrs (Reception to Y2)

3 day countdown for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice British Open Racketball Championships Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club!

Let’s have a brief look at the Men’s Masters Categories to see what could be the outstanding match ups!

O35s could promise an entertaining final between top seed Chris Hall & the exhibitionist second seed Damien Burgess. Will the Welshman bring out the “shaft” on the big stage, we will have to wait to find out!

The potential O40s final between Daniel Weights & Alexis Smith should be a top match, as two very well balanced and levelled O45s & O50s draws promise too! Several potential winners in both categories with none of the top seeds can be necessarily guranteed to get through.

Big entries in the O55s, O60s and O65s mean that there are plenty of possible finalists in with a chance, Patrick Osborn being the stand out favourite perhaps in the 60s, but certainly plenty of players in the draw capable of doing some damage on the day.

It’s great to see good numbers in the 70s and 75s age groups too with 7 and 4 players in the categories respectively. We have some UK Racketball series and National Championship regulars in both so a really high quality of Racketball across the weekend is assured!

Even if you aren’t playing there is going to be some brilliant games across the whole weekend so please feel free to drop into Hallamshire to have a watch and a beer!
