Last weekend’s client loved discovering the secrets of Bamford moor including the Moscar Stone. The stone is a boundary stone and way marker which has recently been deleted from the OS Map and so seems destined to become even more secret. A magic day completing the Welsh 3000s. It’s a very special route with the aim of completing a south to north traverse of the 15 mountains in the Eryri (Snowdon) range with an altitude over 3,000 feet in a time of less than 12 hours. We had unusually bright and dry conditions but a strong easterly wind made for challenging going.
