🏏Saturday Senior Teams Result🏏

🕊The 1st XI were at home this week and got home on Duckworth Lewis by 1 run after bad light stopped play (first and only time I have had to type that this season) a good season all things considered finishing mid-table . The 2nd XI were away in Pen*stone needing to secure victory to stay in the league and win they did with an all round team performance getting over the line with nearly three overs to spare. The 3rd XI had another tough game away to 4th in the league and local rivals Kiveton and recorded a loss but again picked up plenty of bowling and batting points this week and with the bottom two playing each other and not playing out a draw also secured their place in the league.🕊

🏏Special mentions go out to Stan with his unbeaten 130 from 140 balls carrying his bat all the way through the innings. Declan for another half century with 61 from 69 balls and in the 3rd XI Karl Ortton knocking 53 from 52 balls. Congratulations chaps!🏏

🕊What a season of ups and downs! Thanks to everyone that contributes to the running of the season no matter how big or small the contribution. Every single person is appreciated and the club couldn't do it without you!🕊
