🕊The Sunday team welcome Hollinsend Methodist CC Sunday XI to Green Lane. The reverse fixture was a close affair with Aston Hall holding on to win by one run.🕊

🕊Matchday 19! The 1st's are at home to Shiregreen 1st XI. The 2nd's are on the road to play Norton Woodseats 1st XI and the 3rd's are having a week off this week with no game🕊

🏏Sunday Senior Team Result🏏

🕊The Sunday team were away to Cukney CC Sunday side. It was yet again another solid performance, bowling first they started strongly preventing the home team scoring. Cuckney came back and the runs started coming but an excellent final third saw Cuckney bowled out for 212. Jacob Thomas our U15 captain secured another 5 for in his 9.5 overs to secure his 2nd 5 wicket haul of the season.🕊

🏏The batting got underway and it was a tough start but Aston were always ahead of the run rate. Declan came in and fresh off his 50 the previous day settled the ship and with Karl Ortton they put on a 95 partnership to see us nearly home and Aston eventually secured the runs with 9 overs to spare. Declan finishing with 54 from 57 balls and Karl Ortton 51 not out from 55 balls🏏

Kenneth Fredrick Tiler (Ken) died peacefully at Rotherham hospital on 6th August 2026 aged 101 years with his son by his side.
Husband of the late Audrey, Father, Father in-law, Grandad & Great Grandad.
The Funeral Service will take place at Rotherham Crematorium on Monday 24th August 2026 at 12.30pm.
Family flowers only please but donations if desired to dementia UK which can be made on the day of the Funeral as a donation box will be available at the Crematorium.

🏏Saturday Senior Teams Result🏏

🕊The 1st XI took a trip to Collegiate to face their 2nd XI and fell just short of securing the win. The 2nd XI were at home to Hatfield 1st XI but were unable to secure the victory. The 3rd XI were away at Wellbeck 3rd XI in a lower end of the table clash and did the business and secured the win and 21 points.🕊

🏏Special mentions is all about the batting, Hammad Khan with a 108 from 154 balls and Declan Ward with 56 from 93 balls for the 1st XI. For the 3rd XI Rob Ross knocked a quick fire 63 from 49 balls. Congratulations chaps!🏏
