Congratulations to all the UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park students celebrating their GCSE and technical results today! 👏

Today we're celebrating the achievements of our GCSE students!

✅ Above the 2025 national average at Grade 4+ in both English and Maths
✅ 86% achieved Grade 4+ in Physics
✅ 85% achieved Grade 4+ in Chemistry
✅ 82% achieved Grade 4+ in Biology
✅ 85% achieved a Level 2 Pass+ in Health & Social Care, with 67.9% achieving Level 2 Merit+

Year 13 students celebrate success!

Today, our Year 13 students are celebrating an excellent set of academic and technical results, opening doors to a wide range of exciting next steps.

Students have achieved outstanding outcomes, reflecting their hard work, resilience and ambition throughout their time with us.

Among this year's highlights:
⭐ 100% pass rate in Digital Design and Development T Level, with 100% achieving a Merit or above
⭐ 100% of Health and Social Care Extended Diploma students achieved MMM or above
⭐ 90% of Sport Extended Diploma students achieved MMM or above
⭐ An A Level pass rate of 88.9%

Students will now progress to universities across the UK, apprenticeships and employment, pursuing futures in healthcare, computing, cyber security, teaching, education and sport.

Congratulations to all our students. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and look forward to seeing what you do next.

A very exciting milestone for Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity as HBC Construction hands over The Spark, a £24m world-class facility and home of the National Centre for Child Health Technology.

The Spark will open in October and we're very much looking forward to welcoming Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity and their staff and patients to Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park. 😊

We’ve reached an exciting milestone as construction is now complete on Sheffield Children's newest world-class building!

Opening in autumn 2026, The Spark will be home of the National Centre for Child Health Technology – the only facility of its kind in the UK dedicated to bringing together healthcare, innovation, and technology development to create healthier futures for children and young people.

As we celebrate our 150th year, we're proud to have developed a world-class facility where children and young people can help shape the future of healthcare for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone involved in this brilliant achievement. We're looking forward to officially opening later at the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park this year.

A special anniversary celebration took place at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park last week to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1991 World Student Games.

The Games laid the foundations for Sheffield’s sporting legacy - from the creation of world-class sporting venues to recognition as the UK’s first City of Sport, to being awarded national funding for further sporting venues, and the creation of Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park.

We enjoyed welcoming the Westfield Health British Transplant Games flag relay to Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park earlier this week 🤩

It was a pleasure to meet transplant athletes and members of the Donor Family Network and help raise awareness of organ donation, and the importance of having conversations about consenting to organ donation 🩷
