Cain is one of the familiar faces in our café and has been part of the Hillsborough Leisure Centre team for the past 3 years.

Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, picking up a snack or having a quick catch-up after your swim or workout, Cain is always there with a friendly face!😊

Fun facts about Cain: He’s an amateur boxer and runs an impressive 8K every day! 🏃‍♂️💨 But when he’s not training, you’ll probably find him in the pub on a weekend🍺🥊😂

👋Meet the team - Zoe!

Say hello to Zoe, she is another one of our receptionist at Hillsborough leisure centre❤️

Zoe’s journey with our leisure centres began way back in 2004, when she joined Concord Sports Centre, working as a receptionist and in the kids’ club. She spent an amazing 14 years at Concord before moving over to Hillsborough, where she has now been welcoming members and visitors for 9 years — and she’s still going strong!

That means Zoe has an incredible 23 years of service working for our centres!🎉

Fun fact: Zoe donated her stem cells to a stranger suffering with leukaemia and is a regular blood donater🩸. You may not recognise zoe as she changes her hair colour constantly😂.

Zoe is also known as our organiser; whether that is to do with work or staff night outs💃

👋 Meet the team - Ryan!

Meet Ryan, another one of our Duty Managers here at Hillsborough Leisure Centre!❤️

Ryan’s journey in leisure really has come full circle! 🔄 He first joined Hillsborough at just 17 years old as a lifeguard, before moving to Concord, where he spent 10 years — including 8 years as a Duty Manager.

From there, Ryan moved to Springs as a Duty Manager for around 2 years, before taking on the role of Assistant Operations Manager at Ponds Forge.

And then… back to where it all began! 🏊‍♂️ Ryan returned to Hillsborough as a Duty Manager and has now been part of the team for 3 years. 💪

As a Duty Manager, Ryan plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the centre, supporting the team, making sure everything runs smoothly and helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for our members and customers.

Fun fact: Ryan has a dog called Bella which is like his child😂, he also loves to spend his spare time in the gym💪🐾

👋 Meet the team - Annette!

Say hello to Annette, one of our Receptionist at Hillsborough Leisure Centre❤️

With a warm welcome and a smile for everyone who walks through our doors, Annette is always on hand to help our members and customers. 💬

Annette’s leisure journey started at Ponds Forge, where she worked for 5 years before making the move over to Hillsborough. She’s now been part of the Hillsborough team for an incredible 20 years!👏

Fun fact: if Annette is not at work she will only be in 1 of two places… Holiday or in the back garden having a wine🍷✈️😂

Say hello to Dave, one of our fantastic Duty Managers here at Hillsborough Leisure Centre! 👋

Dave has been part of the Hillsborough family for an incredible 35 years. He started his journey as a lifeguard and, through years of dedication and hard work, progressed into his current role as Duty Manager.

If you’ve visited the centre, chances are you’ve met Dave – he really knows everyone!😊. Whether he’s supporting members, helping the team, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, Dave is always happy to lend a hand.

Fun fact: If you know Dave you know he’s either on the football pitch or in the local pub having a wine🍷⚽️

Say hello to Niki, our Sales Manager at Hillsborough Leisure Centre❤️

Niki brings over 3 years of experience with Everyone Active, having previously worked in Slough before relocating to Sheffield. She now supports both Hillsborough Leisure Centre and EIS Sheffield as Sales Manager.

Whether you’re looking to start your fitness journey, find the right membership, or have any questions about what we offer, Nikola is always happy to help.
