We know the turnstiles aren't everyone's favourite part of visiting the hub ⚽😄
However, they do serve a really important purpose.

Leisure United operates facilities on behalf of the Football Foundation and local councils for the benefit of local communities. As these facilities have been developed through public funding, we are required to report usage data to the National Football Trust and demonstrate that we are delivering on the investment made.

That's where the QR codes and turnstiles come in. The more people we can show are using the facilities, the stronger the case for future investment in community sport across the country.

So, every scan helps tell a story. Not just that you turned up for a game, training session or kickabout, but that these facilities are valuable, well-used and worth investing in.

The system also helps us keep everyone safe. Knowing who is on site supports our safeguarding procedures and helps us manage the facilities more effectively.

So while the turnstiles may occasionally test your patience, every beep, scan and successful entry helps support grassroots football and local communities for years to come. ⚽🏟️
