University of Sheffield Boxing Club

Sheffield City Boxing Club is a not for profit organisation run by head coach Brendan Warburton. All of the coaches give up their time free of charge to deliver top quality classes, so the club depends entirely on money raised through gym attendance, sponsorship and fund raising activities.

Every penny that the club generates is re-invested back into the gym, for example providing new kit and equipment for the gym, as well as paying for rent and general maintenance.

As a result of this, classes are accessible for all, and the gym is a place for anyone and everyone to learn to box and get fit. A club that delivers boxing sessions to many different community groups. Whether you want to box competitively or are purely there to improve your fitness, the gym is a welcoming space which makes a huge impact on the community. 👏🥊

As a club, we always raise money for Sheffield City boxing Club, as well as one other charity.

This year the members outstandingly voted for Bens centre, a small local charity located on Wilkinson street.

As well as this, we recently spent a great day at a Sheffield Mind event who have partnered with GB boxing 🥊 💥
