Wow! Where do I even start… ❤️

What an incredible weekend it’s been!

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single student who danced this weekend. You are all the politest, kindest and loveliest children, and watching you shine on that stage after months of hard work has been the most amazing feeling. ✨

I hope you’ve all loved being part of our show, and I hope every one of our students takes away memories that they’ll treasure for years to come. 💕

There are so many people I need to thank for making this weekend possible…

To all of our incredible chaperones – thank you for giving up your time and energy to look after our students backstage. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

To our amazing class helpers, Sofie, Flo, Olivia and Evie – thank you for always taking such great care of our younger dancers and helping them feel calm, confident and excited before they stepped onto the stage.

To my husband, my parents and my mother-in-law – thank you for everything you’ve done behind the scenes. From sewing costumes and making props to running the lighting and looking after my own babies, you’ve given me the time to organise, choreograph and bring this show to life. I couldn’t have done it without you.

To my fantastic team of teachers – Miss Monica, Miss Hannah and Miss Esma – thank you for all of your hard work choreographing routines, preparing the students and helping bring so many of my ideas to life. Your dedication means so much.

And the biggest thank you to Miss Hannah H, who absolutely saved the day today by surprising me and stepping in to introduce all of our acts! It’s safe to say Saturday was a challenge trying to be the runner, line up the children, compare the show, introduce the acts, play the music and open the curtains… all at the same time! 😂 She is an absolute legend, and today ran so much more smoothly because she was there.

The amazing Steve Cooper has also been taking photographs throughout the show. 📸 As soon as they’ve all been uploaded, I’ll share the login details with everyone.

Our fantastic show was also filmed today by GSK Videography. 🎥 Information about ordering your DVD or digital download will be shared next week.

What a busy day it’s been for us today! 🤍

We started the day with our dress rehearsal, making sure everything is ready for our upcoming shows, before heading straight over to Grenoside Gala where some of our dancers proudly represented the school.
