As members may have seen via an email communication from Mark Allen earlier in the week we are hosting a one-week trial of Husqvarna robotic mowers on the golf course.

Robotic mowing technology is becoming an increasingly interesting option for golf course management, and this trial gives our Greens Team the opportunity to see first-hand how the machines perform in our own conditions.

Over the course of this week, you may see the robotic mowers quietly making their way around selected areas of the course.

⛳ The 6th at Hillsborough Golf Club

A beautiful little par 3 that looks deceptively straightforward…but there's plenty to think about before you take your shot.

With the green framed by natural surroundings and the 7th fairway very close, it's all about picking the right club, finding your line and committing to the shot.

Get it right and you're giving yourself a great chance of walking away with a par or maybe even better! 🏌️‍♂️

The 6th: short, scenic and definitely one to respect.

One of those holes where it pays to take a moment and appreciate the view before playing the shot. 🌳☀️

The 17th at HGC offers a beautiful tree-lined setting, with the green sitting peacefully amongst the mature woodland and a fantastic view stretching out beyond.

But don't let the scenery distract you…there’s still a golf shot to play!

A hole that rewards accuracy, a good read of the green, and perhaps most importantly, keeping your head in the game.

17 down. One to go. ⛳

Clear skies, crisp morning air, and sweeping countryside views—early autumn golf at Hillsborough hits differently. The elevated layout offers fantastic playing conditions as the season turns.

It was fantastic to host England Golf for a couple of days recently for their Captains and Seniors competition.

Congratulations to our captain Clive Downing and Andrew Raine who both qualified for the Captains final at Woodhall Spa and Clive qualified for the Seniors by winning the competition at All Woodley earlier in the year.
