A massive congratulations to ESPS Athlete Eddie Mackintosh who raced in the U23 Wild Water Racing European Championships in Single Kayak and Double Canoe!

Him and his partners took third place in both the Classic and Sprint Team events, a personal best. 🥉 Eddie also became the first Brit to reach the finals for Men's Single Kayak Sprint in six years. He also took 9th in the Men's Single Classic, the highest position for a British Man at the competition!

Huge congrats to The North East Snooker team featuring two members of of Sheffield Pool & Snooker Club who took champion or runner up 6 in of 12 awards, including a Championship Doubles Runners Up trophy by graduating Snooker President Joe Callery!

Also a massive congratulations to the 5 man team of three Sheffield students and two alumni who took silver at the Manchester Open Snooker!

Congratulations to former ESPS Athlete, and PhD Graduate, Amber Keegan, on being awarded the Chancellor's Medal.

This prestigious medal is awarded annually to a final year student, or recent graduate, in recognition of outstanding academic, sporting or personal achievement.

Throughout her time at University, Amber has been an incredible campaigner and advocate for improving safeguarding practices in sport, particularly British Swimming.

Alongside her campaign work, Amber competed as an elite swimmer, taking part in BUCS and International Competitions representing Great Britain.
