***UPDATE****
Massive thank you to everyone who has offered support following our recent post. There really are some fantastic people around.
We’re very grateful to say that someone kindly came down to the lock-up and managed to dissolve and remove the filler from the lock, meaning we can now gain access to our equipment again.
The support, messages and offers of help from the community have genuinely meant a lot to everyone involved with the club. It’s reassuring to know that the actions of one individual do not reflect the vast majority of people around us.
We remain disappointed that children’s football continues to be targeted in this way, but the response from the community has reminded us exactly why we continue to work so hard for the club and local area.
Thank you again to everybody who has supported us and especially the person who spent their time, making a massive difference. It still needs the lock cleaning up fully but at least we have access.
Thank you

We are absolutely disgusted that for the fifth time in nine months, our club has been targeted by criminal damage.
This latest incident involves expanding foam being used to fill the lock, meaning our equipment container can not be opened. Previously, silicone sealant was put in the lock and after many hours picking out the sealant, we managed to remove enough to gain access.
We have now suffered three separate deliberate acts of vandalism to our equipment container.
Along with vandalism to our lock-up container, we've also experienced damage to our goals and goal sockets.
This is clearly an adult and is an absolute disgrace and we can't understand why our club continues to be targeted in this way. Each and every act of vandalism has been reported to the Police but the person responsible obviously has very little care for what is right and wrong, scaling up the level of damage every time.
Those responsible are directly targeting children’s football.
Instead of spending our time helping our club to grow, improving the green space for everyone, and maintaining the site for the community, we are being forced to repair deliberate damage again and again.
We need our community to support this to help stop this behaviour.
If you see anyone causing criminal damage, please contact the police immediately. Or, if you have any information about who may be responsible, please report this by calling 101.
Thank you.
