Weight training changed my life

Nope, not exactly

But it gave me the headspace to align my goals from work to personal as well as allowing me the growth to improve my mental health. Offering an escapism and brings those feel good hormones to boost my mood when it was particularly hard. Not to mention the masses amount of other benefits including decreasing back pain (proven by yours truly)

I’ve had the most blissful two weeks away 💕

Full of relaxation, family and a tiny little wedding 💍 but I’m so ready to get back to my routine and lighten my fire for the gym, pt and writing!

I’m diving head first into adapting my program and pushing my little side hustle to the dream I want it to be while managing my mental health with journaling and trying to focus on upping my skill level!

Come with me to a leg day 👌

Am training is my absolute favourite, my gym doesn’t get that busy in the morning and I can absolutely do my workout in order and all is well with the world 😂

🍑 Heel elevated goblet squats - 1x warm up set 10-12 2x working set 8-10 1x heavy set 6-8
🍑 RDL - I’ve dropped these way back to work on form and switched to dumbells to focus on hitting my glutes 🙌🏻
🍑 Leg Extension resistance machine - 3x working sets that increase in weight and drop in reps. I also do a light weight hold between this! 💀
🍑 Lunges - 3 x working weight - choose my weight and include 8-10 reps followed by 6 x body weight

Then I might throw in some calf raises and core work 🤢

Let’s start this week with a win of the week! Some Monday motivation

My client has been smashing their exercises goal this week with passive personal bests been achieved throughout; their biggest goal with joining me was getting moving and that’s exactly what’s she’s been doing. Not only getting moving but smashing the weights 🏋️

Absolutely smashing it!! Well done 💪

Happy Friday! And 1st of March!

What goals are we hitting this month?

I’m getting ever closer to the big day and seeing a lot of early celebrations coming in 💍👰‍♀️so I’ve decided to stop tracking but not slacking on my training ✌️

Today was a pull day to start March and the majority were seeing progress 👊 ensuring I up my weight when I’m easily repping exercises and not being scared of lifting 💪

You are stronger than you think you are 💕

Had such a lovely walk yesterday 👣

Never been to Rivelin Valley trail and it was lovely! Saw a few cold plunges and enjoyed the fresh air ✨ (actually getting my steps in were a nice bonus)

What my pull day looks like ✨

🟡 Assisted pull ups (not smashing the normal pull ups yet though)
🟡 Bent over rows
🟡Superset pull-downs and reverse pull downs
🟡 Face pulls
🟡 Bicep curls

Absolutely favourite day and pushing to up the weight when I can to ensure I’m reaching progress overload.

Pull day has long been my favourite to help me craft a back I can finally be proud of 😆

I started the gym to get big would you believe it?

I’m Molly personal trainer and online fitness coach ✌️ I don’t have a weight loss journey but a weight gain one!

No one realises the just as body hatred you can have been typically skinny! I spent the majority of my younger years been told to eat more so I did just that and I just got a hatred for food out of it!

So I found the gym my love for food returned and I became a weight lifting girl 😜 and I’ve never looked back, I took back my love for myself and turned it into strength fully strong not skinny is the utter goal.

Following this I have trained as a personal trainer and want to help others discover the love for themselves!
