Abbeydale Park Badminton Club in Sheffield caters to both junior & adult players from beginner to in APBC have always enjoyed a strong, active adult membership.
Abbeydale Park Badminton Club is Yorkshires biggest badminton club. WIth members from beginners to top internationals and from 6 to 83 years old we are a truly inclusive club. We have adult players ranging from 18 to in their 70’s playing at all levels. Congratulations to the England U-17 team for their successes at the Victor 6 Nations U-17 tournament over Easter weekend. But a big mention to our members Grace and Lucy who played in the team and smashed it!

Reminder: At tonight’s club session we have two courts dedicated to combined practice. This is part of a trial to improve the standard of our club nights and teams.
This is primarily for existing combined players, however any female members who are interested in playing combined please join us!
The remaining 3 courts will be open to normal club nights/the peg board system 😊
UPDATE: The pilot format for tonight’s team practice is unfortunately cancelled due to a match being held at home. Hope to see you down at club night soon 🙂

A reminder to our existing members, we will be trialling our new format for Wednesday evenings tomorrow. This will be a level doubles team practice session, please see your emails for the proposed format and get in touch with the committee for any details! Looking forward to seieng you all there 😄

A HUGE thank you to those of you who came to the Chris Adcock event on Sunday. It was a great turnout and we hope you had a brilliant time 🏸 stay tuned for any future events! 😄
*CHANGES TO THE CHRIS ADCOCK EVENT*
The event is now FREE entry and all are welcome, so if you have any family of friends who are interested in participating or spectating then please feel free to bring them down!
The times of our Chris Adcock event on Sunday (12th) have slightly changed, there is now a single slot for juniors and for adults, both 2 hours in duration:
- Juniors are now 3.00 to 5.00pm
- Adults are now 5.30 to 7.30pm
The times should provide a new simpler arrangement and give you a better experience on the day.
If you won a ticket in the club raffle or purchased a ticket from us, you can still use it to purchase items on the day or if you don't want to we can refund it for you.
On the day there will be coaching, fun activities, Q&A Session with chris, Autograph signing, Yonex Trade Stand with Yonex Staff in attendance and a large range of demo rackets to try on court, fingers crossed with some new never before seen models!
