Job Description:

In2Change is a ‘not for profit’ charitable organisation that aims to prevent young people and ex-offenders becoming or remaining involved in criminal activities.
In2Change recently received funding from Yorkshire Bank to establish a Bike Library at our Sheffield centre, Rutland Hall, based in Neepsend.

The purpose of the Bike Library will be to:
• Allow young people to borrow a bike for FREE.
• Run guided cycle events.
• Empower and assist young people in the repair and maintenance of bikes.
The volunteer will be heavily involved in the repair and maintenance of donated bikes and cycling equipment. They may also be required to assist the lead tutor on guided cycling events.

Who We are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic about cycling and the maintenance/ repair of bikes.
Ideally we would require the applicant to have either Cytech or Velotech accreditation in cycle repair and maintenance.

Hours:

The volunteer role will be for the hours of 11am- 2pm for 1-2 days during the week (To be arranged post application to fit around the volunteers other commitments).

Additional Information:

All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS (Criminal disclosure) check due to the nature of the role.
