We are very sorry to hear the news of the passing of Rob Lovett, one of the founders of The Exiles, over the weekend.
We remember Rob running one of the BFHS Autumn Exchanges, opening his home to a large bunch of HEMA reprobates, being an amazingly open and kind gentleman who was deeply passionate about The Exiles, Fiore and HEMA generally! Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Safe Journeys Sir, and thank you!!

Great second session back in 2024! An evening of classic footwork drills, measure and timing practice with glove drills and Cut 7 practice breaking down the mechanics of a cut from a moulinet through a guard!
Great practice session from our regulars and excellent progress from our new students, amazing technique given this was their first time with all of this!!
Keep up the great work guys!!

Happy New Year To You All!!
We hope you’ve had a very restful and enjoyable festive period!!
Now we are back into January proper, we have already had a number of enquiries and people wanting to start 2023 off right by coming along and joining us on Monday 9th for our first class!
So, why not come and join them, get yourselves moving and learn a Martial Art that is native to the U.K.! We hope to see you there!!
NOTE: We now have 4 Beginners coming along on Monday 9th January, if you are are considering it, it would be a brilliant night to come along, and remember, it doesn’t cost you anything for the first two weeks!!
