Absolutely outstanding playing against the age group above!! Some of our girls hadn’t played 7v7 before and they didn’t look out of place at all! Thank you to 2 of our U9’s for helping as well 👏

U9’s Hillsborough Girls JFC

What a season these girls have had. Mid-season promotion to the top league, followed by a steep but necessary learning curve. Not only have they adapted to a change in the standard of football but at the same time they overcame an unexpected change in their coaching team too.

This group of lionesses have risen to the challenge with positive attitudes and teamwork throughout, developing both individually and collectively as they moved through the second half of the season.

This team have received praise for their workrate and attitude from opposition coaches as they have gone from strength to strength.

A huge thanks to our coaching team for their work, to parents and volunteers who have kept this club going against the odds.

LOTG for the U8’s today, she got a goal and covered every blade of grass! Another positive performance - well done girls!
And for the U9’s this little lady was absolutely awesome in defence against an unbelievable team for their last game of the season. She won every ball and was always where she should be, strong and ready!
