Having let the dust settle, I reflected on our time at the ISBHF Legends World Ball Hockey Championships in Cernosice, Czechia.
Our first Women’s Legends Ball Hockey Championship may not have brought home gold, silver or bronze, but it gave us something even more meaningful: the chance to make history, break barriers, and, through our drive to be our best, create lasting opportunities for Legends-aged players while helping to be a vital part in the GB Ball Hockey pathway for girls and women of all ages. We will continue to push to elevate our sport in the UK and as part of the ISBHF family, and show what is possible.

On Friday morning, two representative GB Men’s Lions teams fly out to Prague to take part in the Amalka Summer Cup being held in Kladno, Czech Republic
This is a great opportunity to strengthen the 🇬🇧 and 🇨🇿 hockey relationship.
Last year we took part in the PANA Cup which was a massive success and opportunity and the players travelling out later in the week are looking forward to going up against some very tough European based ball hockey sides
Keep your eyes out for interviews and posts about the trip and hopefully one of the two GB teams will be coming back with some silverware

As the tournament closes and everyone focuses on what comes next we’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, coaching, management, therapists, media, board members and so on. You all work incredibly hard to continue to bring opportunities for the athletes within this sport to continue to challenge themselves and to step up and represent GB. Your efforts are always appreciated.
To those of you following along at home, thank you for your continued support, your interaction and encouragement means the world to everyone involved.

Congratulations to the Highland Frost who won the first ever Great Britain NBHL title yesterday .
Well done to GM, Zain Karmali, who enters the record books and to all his players for a fantastic performance over the last few weeks.
Commiserations to the Merseyside Foxes who came so close to the title.
The Frost now go over to New Jersey in September to represent the UK in the NBHL championships !
To help with the costs, BHUK will be promoting various fundraising efforts by Zain and his team over the next few weeks . Please support these efforts so that the Frost can does us proud when they go over to represent the Uk
