Noah connected our game brilliantly, bringing everyone into play, helping us move the ball from defence up the pitch with some excellent passing football. He was constantly looking to get involved and keep things moving, topped off with a fantastic goal from outside the area 👏

Stanley ran his socks off today, working tirelessly up and down the wing. He was excellent in both attack and defence, always looking to make things happen and never giving up on a ball. He was also brilliant vocally, constantly communicating and giving his teammates encouragement and instructions 🤝

Thoroughly deserved lads!

Colby was outstanding today and showed exactly why he’s such an important player for this team. He has an incredible ability to read the game, making the game look effortless. Defensively he was solid throughout, but also showed real bravery stepping forward to support the attack, capping off his performance with a well deserved goal ⚽️

Charlie was technically excellent from start to finish. His close control and footwork made beating defenders look easy, while his work rate without the ball was just as impressive today. He chased everything down in the opposition’s defensive third, never gave them a moment’s rest and was rewarded with two well taken goals 🎯

Today we spent the day fundraising at Asda Handsworth, collecting donations to help support our team.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate or have a chat. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, really does make a difference and helps give our lads the best possible experience throughout the season.

A special mention also goes to our team secretary Mike, who took the time out to organise today. Your commitment behind the scenes is hugely appreciated by everyone involved with the team.

🏆 Another positive team bonding day for the lads as we took part in the Rotherham Town FC Gala Tournament ⚽️

We didn’t quite hit the levels we know we’re capable of today, but what really stood out was the character, resilience and togetherness shown by every single player to keep pushing on. We showed some excellent flashes of the positive, progressive football that we want to play. The lads kept encouraging each other throughout and found a way to get the job done when it mattered most to secure a 3rd place finish🥉

Plenty to build on, plenty to learn from, and another step forward as a group 👏💙

Oliver was outstanding down the wing today. He showed confidence on both his left and right foot, used the space on the pitch brilliantly and was always looking to take on his defender. His positive attacking play caused the opposition problems all game 💪

Harry was superb at the back, staying cool, calm and collected throughout. He kept the ball under control, helped us play out from the back and made some excellent decisions in possession. Just as importantly, he recognised when to get rid of the ball to eliminate danger and keep us on the front foot 🤝
