Top tips to help cool down your horse after exercise! 🐎💦

1) The most effective way to cool down a horse is to continuously pour cold water all over their body.
2) Don’t waste time scraping - leaving water on a horse will not make them hotter. Instead, any water sitting on the coat will evaporate and contribute to cooling them.
3) Don’t be afraid to offer your horse water immediately after exercise. It does not increase the risk of colic.

Absolutely amazing training day today with our competition team💙💗💚🧡 jumping tracks of 85/90. You did us proud so lucky to have Speetley on our door step!

Nice New surface down for our school today!👏 no more deep, dry, dusty sand in the summer and no frozen sand in winter😃 plus a nicer softer landing for our riders😂😂😂 but most importantly a much more stable surface for our horses legs and joints❤️🐴

So so proud of these ladies today!! First try at arena eventing and they all smashed it!!
