Parkwood Springs has a 2km dedicated mountain bike trail open to all to use, built by Sheffield City The carpark gate is open at the weekend from 10am to 3pm.
Parkwood Springs is a 2km trail with ups that twist and turn to keep your mind off the effort and the downs are littered with pump bumps, lips and berms. Designed and built to be accessible to all it’s a blue trail with red level opt ins. Beginners will enjoy the confidence inspiring berms, progressive features and grin widening descent. My wonderful trails will be closed to the public this coming Saturday due to the mighty Midlands XC MTB Series coming to town. They will be running a series of races from 10 year old groms up to seasoned pros throughout the day. The last one is off at 2:30pm
Entries are still available on the day if you fancy a go. The course uses much more that just the main track making the agony worth while.

Saturday is going to be Wild! I know i'm a city centre trail centre but I dont think I'll quite be able to see if from here, that bloody arts tower is in the way!

My Trails will be closed to bikes on Saturday morning as school kids run around me for a Cross Country Race... They'll be open again by lunch time... enjoy your lie in!

Race me, Race me!! Dont be put off by the lycra, racing is racin! Nutcracker Altura MTB Racing are again putting on the annual assault on my trails. With a brilliant course design my by uncle Dan its not just a whippets track, there's plenty to keep you interested on the lap.
Racing takes place on Sunday 26th June from 10 am so obviously I'll be closed. Might as well race, or if not, help marshall! They cant race without them... and I Cant wait to see how they include the new dual track!
