In light of the updated advice from Government today (Monday 16 March), the University has taken the decision to suspend all face-to-face teaching with immediate effect. Students will be contacted over the coming days to confirm teaching arrangements going forward.
We are also transitioning to a predominantly remote working environment and ask staff not to attend University from Tuesday 17 March unless contacted and advised otherwise.
University buildings will remain open and if students need to access buildings they should follow the latest public health advice. We will do our best to support students who require access to specialist facilities to use electronic resources or loan equipment.
We’re facing a rapidly changing and unpredictable situation. The weeks ahead are likely to be challenging for us all but the health and wellbeing of our students and staff is our top priority. We will provide updates as the situation develops by email and on our advice page shu.ac.uk/coronavirus
