Our range has expanded!
We now have the C1.
The C1 is a very comfy road shoe. I've ran in it a few times and wear it all day, every day in the shop.
Some of the shoes highlights include:
- Dual-layer midsole design: top layer CircleCELL foam delivers uncompromised performance, crafted from sustainable materials, while the rubberized EVA bottom layer provides support and stability.
- TUNEDFIT Dual Lacing System for separate lace adjustment.
- Wider base and higher sidewalls enhance stability during long runs.
The C1 is now added to our current Mount To Coast range of the R1 (road shoe), H1 (hybrid shoe) and T1 (trail shoe)
We find all the Mount To Coast shoes really comfy and we're getting great feedback about them.
Pop in and see what they're all about.

We're super pleased to have the demo set of the T1 in store now, for about a week.
Just pop in, we'll get your size, and take them for a spin. You could even have them overnight to give them a nice long run.
Why not give them a go, they could be your new favourite trail shoe!

Not all races go to plan.
Just wasn't right for me at Manchester marathon unfortunately.
I'd had a good training block but picked up a couple of niggles the week before the race.
So starting a bit injured I'd decided on a couple of goals. Sub 3 or PB.
When the pain started from the beginning, I knew it wasn't right, then from about mile 8 it hurt more. Decided to get to half way and see how it felt. No improvement, so relaxed a bit, hoping that might help and go for a PB.
But it was just getting more painful, I was getting slower and really having to limp.
I know it was the right decision to stop. It is a bit frustrating, but hopefully it'll enable me to recover sooner and get back to it.
I might be limping around the shop for a bit.
Well done to everyone who ran in Manchester, I hope you got the result you wanted.
