Walking Basketball Sheffield runs a weekly walking basketball session at Tapton School every Sunday.

Our session on Sunday 22nd February is CANCELLED. We've been informed at short notice that the sports hall at Tapton School is being 'deep cleaned' and so we cannot use it.
Obviously, this is outside our control - we will be back on Sunday 1st March 11am.
CHANGE OF START TIME. Our next Walking Basketball session tomorrow (Sunday) will start at 12 noon instead of our usual 11am. This is a one-off alteration. Hope you can still make it at this later time.
SUNDAY 29TH JUNE WALKING BASKETBALL SESSION IS CANCELLED.
This is due to staff shortage at the venue of Tapton School and is outside our control.
Please accept our apologies.
Hopefully, you'll be able to come to our next session on SUNDAY 6th JULY 11am at Tapton School Sports Hall.
We had a brilliant session last Sunday - four new players - including two who'd never played before, all of whom had a great time. So if you'd like to convert from a spectator (Hatters/Sharks supporter) into a player, come and join us this Sunday.
Our walking basketball sessions are every Sunday morning 11am till 12. Come and join us - it’s basketball but without the running. Everyone welcome - open to all adults. First session free.

Walking Basketball Sheffield It's basketball without the running
We have our last two walking basketball sessions coming up before the summer break. Sunday 7th July and Sunday 14th July - both start at 11am at Tapton School, Darwin Lane, Sheffield S10 5RG. We run a couple of simple skill drills at our Walking Basketball sessions each week. It’s a way of both acquiring and honing basketball skills to benefit both beginners and more experienced players. We're on the radio! I had a brilliant time talking to Nick Ahad on BBC Radio Sheffield earlier today about walking basketball. He has a slot called 'Alternative Sports Report' where he spotlights a sport that is not getting in the limelight and today it was the turn of walking basketball.
