Schools Championship Team Event- South Yorkshire Qualifiers

The South Yorkshire qualifiers for the National Schools Championship teams event is taking place at the English Institute of Sport on Monday 25th November and, glory be, its in school time!

This competition is a great opportunity for all our youngsters because it has age categories for everyone (under 11s, under 13s, under 16s and under 19s), the winners of the event will go on to represent South Yorkshire in the Butterfly National Schools Competitions, and... it takes place in school time!

Teams are welcomed to the event from beginner level to the County's best - the main objective is to get young people participating in the sport.

All schools and colleges in our area are invited to enter but competition entries must be made by the school.

Please speak to your school to see if it will be entering a team, or to suggest that it does! Schools may not be aware of the table tennis talent or interest in their school so its always worth discussing this with your teacher or PE department.

The application form including further information is accessible here https://1drv.ms/w/c/0dfaea805ae18872/EQxgHCgDbYFDpTcYjLMYZwAB7oPXBZKcMwlCFMMwZtUp2g?e=KDnQvg

or from Phil Wright the SYSTTA School Teams Organiser [email protected]

Last date for entries is the 18th of November 2024 and remember, it takes place in school time!
