The end game is often the focus but in reality shouldn’t be much more than a quick thought.

To reach any goal takes time and dedication and health and fitness is no different.

Breaking the end goal down and taking simple steps one focus per day or per week and building on that is a guaranteed way of building towards a success.

So today, take a step, something small that moves you one place closer to the end target. Focus on it with all your attention and do it to the best of your ability.

Tomorrow pick something and do the same.

When you are training for life, to improve the way you move and perform in everyday activities along with a little leisure sport here and there, it’s important to create variety in your gym routine. Different ways of holding the bar in a squats or slight different positions for deadlifting etc. Keep your body adapting to new things and you’ll always be prepared.

This is quickly becoming one of my favourite exercises πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

New year, new challenge!

Adding abit of flavour to the bent over row. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

Get in press up position on a box or step, keep your body as straight as possible and perform a single sided row.

The amount of extra work involved to keep you hips square to the floor is immense, not to mention the extra work load on your stabilising arm.

Give it a go!

With any exercise it’s important to work from ground up to master the technique and avoid injury.

Take your time adding weight to the bar and make sure you have control of the part through all sections of your squat.

Slow it down what does it feel like, videos it and see what it looks like. Master the flaws and watch the results come tumbling in on your Pb board.

Transformation Tuesday!!
This one is a work in progress but still very impressive so far πŸ’ͺ🏻. Weight hasn’t changed a great deal but we have seen a big change in muscle gain and fat loss that’s clear to see.
It shows that the scales isn’t always the place to be looking for results as it doesn’t give you a full scope of what’s happening. βš–οΈ
The project now goes heavy as we build up some muscle mass over the winter period to then push towards next years wedding 🎩

This guy is proof that a busy work schedule and a lot of meals out for work doesn’t mean you have to accept defeat.
True, it’s a lot of graft for him to fit in the sessions and organise his food but by putting in the extra effort it allowed him to keep his occasional meal out for work or just because he wanted to.
An absolute warrior in the gym he set his mind to the goal and did the work that needed to be done.
Nothing that Andy did was out of the ordinary or extra special it was as simple as sticking to the plan we put in place together and consistently get it done. Massive credit to you mate πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
