Today we shared our rules for The Straight Mile Fishery.

Since then, we've received a number of messages some asking for changes, others questioning why certain rules are in place.

We want to clarify that these are the rules specific to our fishery. Every fishery operates differently, and these rules reflect what we believe is best for the care of the pond, the fish, and the overall experience.

If our approach doesn’t suit your preferences, then perhaps this isn’t the right venue for you and that’s okay.

We understand we can’t please everyone, but the rules are set and will remain in place.
