And that’s a wrap on the green renovations.

- Finished off by a roll with the tru turf iron
- sprayed with phosphite mix to aid with recovery
- Granular fertiliser spread on after to also aid with recovery
- also with the recent rain, we are finally starting to see growth around the course and some stripes re appearing

Next week we will be focussing more on the tee box’s and approaches which will have the same process applied to them.🌱☀️

Day 3 of renovations and we could return to normal schedule. With the better weather today we definitely made up for the lost day yesterday.

- greens were seeded with a bent mix via a drop spreader
- greens were seeded with dyno seeder into the channels created
- greens were top dressed with 25 tonne of sand
- sweep and filled to disperse the sand into the holes
- Another light dress applied to fill remaining holes
- Z brushed in for final finish

Great progress was made today on the greens with a final few things to complete tomorrow.

What’s renovation week without some poor weather?🤔 after 25mm of rain from last night all the way through to this afternoon, it put a halt to the next process of the greens renovations.

So the greenkeeping team made a start on the tee boxes, which included
- scarifying to depth of 15mm to get through the drought stress layer
- clearing debris behind
- verti draining to 7” depth

Also the completion of the rope drainage on holes 6 and 11 was finished today and hope to see the benefits this winter.
Works on the greens will carry on tomorrow as the weather looks better.

Day 1 of renovations and the green staff made excellent progress with the perfect weather.

- greens scarified
- greens cut after
- greens hollow cored to 1” depth
- all cores collected and removed from the surface
- holes 1-11 verti drained to depth of 7”

We will continue to post to keep everyone updated on the progress throughout the renovation period!
