Still some places left for anyone interested in this new class!

New yoga class, starting next week in the Star Room!

-

🪷 What is Kundalini Yoga?
Movement, breathwork, meditation & mantra — a powerful practice for working with body, mind and energy.
For me, it has helped me find:
✨ Resilience
✨ Determination
✨ Strength
And supported me through:
🌱 Anxiety & low moods
🌱 Unhelpful and addictive patterns
🌱 Times when I’ve felt stuck or disconnected from myself
So… how about giving it a try?
If you're curious but not sure whether it's for you, your first session is free. No experience necessary. Bring a mat if possible.
I offer these sessions as part of my Kundalini Yoga teacher training.
Warning: people may report that you've changed after a year of this. 😆
It would be my honour to share this epic technology with you. 💫

A brand new group has been formed for ladies of the parish!

See the post below for more details.

Posted on behalf of Julia Bradshaw...

Women of Shipham, Rowberrow & Star

The W.I. group that has been active in the village for 104 years has folded BUT under a new name and with new younger membership, we can take this group forward into the 21st century.

We have the use of the George Thiery room, once a month on a Monday night, gratis – and it is up to us, the women of Shipham, Rowberrow & Star to decide what we want to do with it!

There is a meeting on Monday, September 14th in the GT Room at 7.30pm where we can discuss what this new group should look like, its purpose and aims - and you could help shape that discussion.

If you would like to seize this opportunity to come together, share stories, learn, inspire, help and support one another as a group of local women, let’s do it.

Please indicate your interest below and we will meet soon to create something new, which we can all enjoy – or just turn up!

Your Community. Your Police. Let's Talk.

Following the recent reports of car thefts, vandalism and suspicious activity in and around the village, Shipham Parish Council has arranged a Beat Surgery with Avon and Somerset Police.

This is an opportunity to meet your local Neighbourhood Sergeant, raise any concerns you have, ask questions about local policing, and discuss the issues that matter most to our community.

Whether you've been directly affected, have information to share, or simply want to hear about local policing priorities, you're encouraged to come along.

📅 Sunday 19 July
