𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲'𝘀 𝗡𝗼.𝟭. 👑

Charlotte Naughton has capped off an incredible season by becoming the first winner of the Women's European Amateur Order of Merit.

The 18-year-old earns an EGA gold medal for the achievement, along with an invitation to compete on the Ladies European Tour.

Having started the year with a string of impressive top-five finishes, Charlotte's victory at the European Ladies' Amateur Championship in Sweden proved the defining moment of her season, helping her secure the title by more than 500 points. 👏

Today we hosted Durham competing for the Ballinghall Shield. Congratulations to Durham who won it today 3-1 in very close fought matches on a very windy day!! Many thanks to City of Newcastle GC for their excellent hospitality and course.

Great turnout today at the Junior Social Golf session at Tynemouth GC (thank you so much for hosting.

However Captain Helen took a wrong turn and ran to South Shields instead of North Shields!! Well done Helen in completing the GNR 🏃‍♀️ 🥇 ❤️💛❤️💛❤️

Our rising stars were in action yesterday in the final of the Barlow Bowl. M Wilkinson edged past P Harrison to claim the trophy. Great golf and tenacity demonstrated by both girls. Very well done 👏 🏌️‍♀️❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️

2026 Captains Charity fundraiser kindly organised by Past Captain Jane Henderson. Many thanks to sponsors Kidd and Spoor as well as Tynemouth GC who generously donated the tee times too. Almost £2000 was raised on the day👏🏌️‍♀️❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛😍

Well our 2026 Interclub competitions concluded tonight with the Evening League final. Played at Gosforth GC, Stocksfield finished victorious over Rothbury in a close fought match. Thanks to everyone at GGC for hosting and well done to all EL competitors 👏.

Finals Day for the TR and Norah Percy teams. Both matches were hard fought with 3-2 results.
City of Newcastle beat Stocksfield and Hexham beat Northumberland. It was tough out there in the wind but friendships forged. Thanks to Ponteland GC for hosting, food and course much appreciated by all. Well done to ALL players across the season who competed in these super knockout competitions 👏🏌️‍♀️🏆❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛

Our 2026 competition season drew to a close today at Matfen GC. The new course was fantastic and proved quite a challenge to our ladies.
Best Gross was won by Amy Ewan from Lindsay Whittaker
Best Nett Lindsay Whittaker from Amy Ewan
Nancy Wardroper was won by Marion Lowdon with Alison Lander a close second.
Dr Crowther and the Vice Presidents trophies were won by Dawn Irving from Geraldine Lawson.
The Welsh Moralee trophy was won by Fiona Williams.
