New Slider Class | First class FREE!

Tomorrow at 9:30am at The Salvation Army Hall, Shoebury SS3 8UT.

I’m so excited to introduce my brand new Slider Class 🙌

This class is low impact, kind to your joints, and perfect if you’re managing injuries or just want a more controlled, mindful way to train. Don’t be fooled though… you’ll still feel the burn 🔥

Using sliders, we’ll work on strength, stability, and mobility in a way that supports your body rather than batters it. It’s ideal if you’ve been worried about getting back into exercise or have been doing exercise but have been suffering with sore back, hips or knees.

💫 Low impact

💫 Injury-friendly

💫 Full body strengthening

💫 Core, balance & control

Bulgarian split squats… not many people’s favourite 😅

They’re tough, they challenge your balance, and they have a way of finding your weakest side very quickly.

But that’s exactly why they’re so important.

Most of us are stronger on one side than the other, even if we don’t realise it. When you only train both legs together, those imbalances can stay hidden.

Single leg exercises like this help to:

• improve muscle balance
• strengthen stabilising muscles
• support knee and hip health
• reduce the risk of injury

They also build a different kind of strength, the kind that carries over into everyday movement.

Yes, they burn.
Yes, they feel awkward at first.
And yes… you might question your life choices halfway through.

But if you stick with them, they get better and more importantly, you get stronger and more balanced because of them.

Sometimes the exercises we avoid are the ones we need the most! that’s what I’m for 😉

There are a few things I wish more women understood about exercise ❤️

Not the complicated stuff… just the things that actually make the biggest difference.

1. Exercise isn’t always supposed to feel easy. That moment where it starts to feel challenging is often where the body begins to adapt and get stronger, and when the feel good hormones are released later on.

2. Mobility matters just as much as strength. If joints and muscles can’t move properly, other areas of the body often end up compensating, which is where injuries can start.

3. Consistency is another big one. When exercise becomes part of your routine, the brain stops negotiating with you about whether to do it. It simply becomes something you do, like brushing your teeth.

4. The opposite can also happen. Long breaks from movement can sometimes create doubt and make it feel harder to start again, even though your body is more capable than you think.

5. And on those days where motivation is low, remember this:

A short workout still counts. 10 minutes of movement is far more valuable than doing nothing while waiting for the “perfect” session.

One final thing that often gets overlooked, don’t just rush through exercises. Pay attention to what your body is doing. Feeling the movement and controlling it is often where the real benefit lies.

Have you ever seen these before?

These are body fat calculators. I offer this service within my personal training sessions or as a one off service.

By calculating 7 different spots on your body, I can determine your body fat.

Why calculate this over the weight on the scales?

Because you are building muscle and losing fat. What can happen is the scales won’t move. This will destroy your motivation.

By calculating your body fat and not including your muscle mass, giving you a true reflection on your hard work 💪🏼

If you’d like a monthly body fat calculation get in touch 🙌🏽
