🌬️ It’s a windy one today — the perfect excuse to stay in and get stuck into a full reflock! 🐴✨

A full reflock should ideally be done every 2 years, depending on how often the saddle is used. It’s not just about freshening up the flocking — it’s a chance to check the tree, assess overall fit, and give everything a deep clean, especially in those places you can’t normally reach. 🧽🔍

Regular maintenance like this keeps your saddle in top condition, supports your horse’s comfort, and helps catch any issues early before they become bigger problems.

Bah, if I had a £1 for every time someone said this to me, I'd be wallowing on a beach in Barbados with a Pina Colada in my hand. 🍹

❌ STOP apologising for being 'just' a happy hacker. DRUMROLL PLEASE - this is my fave thing to say to someone: 'It is better to be a happy hacker than a sad show jumper'.
🤗 The happiest horses I see are those that hack a lot. Without a doubt.
⏰ Most happy hackers actually spend MORE time in their saddle than any other discipline!

And, regardless of what you do - both your and your horse need to be comfortable and happy!
So, if you ever think you don't need a Saddle Fitter, or a nice saddle because 'all' you do is hack, give yourself a slap or a wedgy and remember that you're still important and so is your horse! 😘😘😘
